Establishment of RIOU OCEAN GLASS, a unique and ultra-modern glass processing plant to serve the Indian Ocean region.
Based at the Port Louis Autonomous Port in Mauritius, Riou Ocean Glass glass processing plant is dedicated to serving the target markets of Mauritius, Madagascar, Réunion Island, and countries in East Africa. This unprecedented and ultra-modern factory will enable delivery times of less than 10 days for all products, compared to the current lead time of 3 to 4 months, with the majority being imported. An investment of €10 million was required to successfully carry out this project: a building of 10,000 m² equipped with cutting tables, shaping equipment, tempering furnace, lacquering line, enameling line, digital printing line, laminated assembly line, and double glazing line, a product that is not widely available in these markets and that Riou Ocean Glass plans to develop in an industrial manner.
