Anti-vandal and burglar-retardant laminated safety glazing

The range of anti-vandalism and burglar-retardant PS laminated safety glass is made up of two or more single glasses, closely bonded by the interposition of plastic films (PVB). They meet the requirements for protection of people and property of standard EN 356 which increasingly classifies security products from 1 to 8.

Two different testing devices are used to classify the products. The vandalism is represented by the fall of several 4.11 kg steel balls. The glazing is classified in a given category (P1A to P5A) if the steel ball does not pass through it. Break-in is represented by sledgehammer and ax impacts using an automatic mechanism described by the standard for classes P6B to P8B. Different possible applications: Residential (houses, buildings) Non-residential (offices, professional premises, stores, jewelry stores, museums, etc.)
